Nope, sorry. 'Left' was, is, and always will be, positioned to the right of 'Lefter'.

Fail to acknowledge that and you end up with Lefter... every single time. People voted for the ole 'hidden-arm on the right' trick and, voila... THERE IS NO THIRD ARM! It's magic!

They had their choice... Pick the slow poison and hope for a cure later on, or pick the fast one and accept instant death. Yet, those idiots in NY chose to drop the vial of slow poison on the floor and step on it, only to find the vial behind door number 3 was empty.

The experiment failed and now the third-party scientists will all die. They always do, you know. Tsk tsk.

Most voters don't think about the micro-politics of their vote, they either vote to get away from someone or over a few specific issues...They don't sit around discussing the opportunity for anything, they're at work trying to find enough time to even vote at all hoping the next guy isn't lying to them...They didn't drop anything...

The Rep party got it's ass handed to them, but the people didn't...

'Following' and 'voting' are two different things.

The minorities didn't come out again, the young people didn't come out again. Same old crap as always. Time-after-time the same demographics prove to hold no interest in politics unless there's a gift at the door. Nothing else motivates them to show up and vote.

That's as shallow as it gets. These aren't 'activists'. You won't see any changes, they'll be right back drinking the Obama kool-aid in 2012 and clueless as to why. All they will know is that someone's handing out free kool-aid.

It's the same old voters out there, doing the same old thing. America is mad as hell, but only half of them aren't going to take it any more. The other half is drinking beer and eating cheetos in front of the TV, whining about their lack of money while flipping thru channels, and clueless that they lack money because they have to pay for all of that 'free' kool-aid.

You're right, 'the people' feel great. Tis a glorious day.

And tomorrow 'the people' will receive their asses in the mail, courtesy of their newly-elected Democrat... postage due.

Where is the party rule that determines who should and should not register as a member of the Republican party? I heard Rush Limbaugh say yesterday that the Republican tent encompasses ALL OF AMERICA. Do you disagree with Limbaugh, one of the gods o the Republican party?

the message is to the leaders of the party, if you chose a Dem in Republican clothing, the conservatives will not back them 'for the good of the party' and they shouldn't. The more I read about Scozzafava the more I question how she could even register as a Republican. She has no core Republican beliefs, she is large government, tax and spend, pro-choice, pro-union etc. What was R about her?

We make fun of the French all the time, but at least they stand up for themselves. When the French Middle Class is threatened, they pour into the streets by the millions and raise pure hell.

Don't sell your fellow citizens short. I think this is coming, but it depends what you mean by raising pure hell. Torching the streets as in riots, no. Peaceful demonstrations, yes.

Where do you think the Tea Party idea started?

Agreed, Campaign for Liberty originated the Tea Party idea, but it was the 912 folks (from several different organizations) that gave it momentum, so much so, the heads of CFL endorsed the 912 march on Washingon. I've mentioned this before, there are many common denominators between these groups, but the 912 movement has the momentum CFL never could rally.

And as for Virginians, I suspected the amount of dissatisfaction w/ the current administration, but had no idea how widespread the dissatisfaction - actually it was greater than I had thought. The many articles, the radio shows, and even the networks (except for NBC, of course) had interviews with voters saying they did support their candidate, but sending a message to the current administration was the reason they came out to vote.

And with all the attention on Virginia, I know our two reps in the House, Gerry Connolly (D)and Jim Webb (D) are watching. Maybe now when they read my letters that I will not only financially support their opposition, but work for their opponent's campaign to vote them out of office.....they may now take a different attitude.....unlike the last response from the Congressman saying his constituants didn't know what was best, so he was going to determine that for us. (Hannity is a bit over the top, but he sure had fun w/ that letter) - it was a canned letter that went out in one Congressional district. The condenscending attitude is what convince me these two dweebs must go.

And they will. 2010 is right around the corner.
