FIRST: FULL DISCLOSURE

The publisher of the information I'm about to
share with you has an affiliate program. I am
an affiliate. I receive a VERY SMALL commission
for each sale through my link... less than $36.

That's not my primary reason for posting this.

When my company decided to get involved in
originating FHA loans I knew it would be important
to provide a source of training for those who have
no FHA experience.

I looked around at every FHA training program I
could find. What I found is this... there is a lot
of good stuff out there but most of it is very
expensive... live seminars, online webinars and "guru"
training packages... most of them in excess of $500.

I have the FHA underwriting guidelines handbook...
good luck with that... lol... and I've been to the
freefhatraining.com website... very good but somewhat
limited. The audios are well done but you really need
more than that if you're going to do FHA the right way.

What I found was a comprehensive training program that's
presented in a way that the average person can understand
the ins and outs of originating FHA loans.

The program is certified for CECs in 35 states, is used by
the NAMB and many state broker associations... and many major
lenders.

The best part is this... not only is it the best
program I've found, it also happens to be the least
expensive... only $97. That's incredibly cheap for
everything included. They even include a great little
marketing plan for developing FHA business.

And it comes with an unconditional 30 day money back guarantee.

I've actually seen this material before and for the $89 it is a great deal and very good material.

Thanks Terry. What a time saver this will be for me - no more walking people thru the FHA process over and over again.

Thank you, Michelle...

When I received the package I tore into it
and couldn't believe everything that's included
for $89.

I also have the FHA Guidelines handbook... good
luck with that... LOL

This material was pretty easy to read and understand.
No "government" language... lol... I especially like
the CD containing all the required FHA forms and mortgagee
letters going all the way back to the beginning. That's
a tremendous resource to have right at your fingertips.

I'd say that anyone who is considering doing FHA loans
now or in the near future needs to get this in their hands.
With the 30 day unconditional money back guarantee they
can evaluate it and return it if it doesn't meet their
expectations.

Does the training go over using FHA connection and getting the correct info in there?

I received my package back on Friday (ordered Tuesday evening) I haven't gone through everything but there is definitely a lot of stuff in the package.

From what I have had a chance to skim, they seem to have gone through and made everything really easy to understand.

I would definitely recommend the package. The way it is set up you can leave it by your desk as a quick reference guide.

Thanks Terry

I used to spend an extra $400 a year added to
my already $400 All Regs subscription to get a product online
through them for FHA that isn't as good as this.
And FHA is going to be changing a lot over the next few
months. This has free updates for life.

The author and the book have been around for a while and
the author specializes in FHA himself.

Any more recommendations on this? Sounds like the majority of the recommendations above are really advertisements. Anyone have any criticism on the package?

I guess that's one way to look at it... another way
would be that these people all got the package and found
nothing in it they could criticize.

Keep in mind that it comes with an unconditional 30 day
money back guarantee so you have nothing to lose by taking
a look at it...

Matt, I have the system and use it. You want a sneak peak, come by office in Oak Park and I can go over it with you. I bought this program a month or two before Terry set up with Chip so I paid more than $89 to get the program (it is a very good price at $89). Let me know by e-mailing me through the Oupost......

I have been doing real estate for 3 years and mortgage for 1 year.I have been doing good with over 150K this year by doing conventionnal loans. My office is not FHA approve and I feel so comfortable with my partnerts. That is a place to work but on the other hands, i could make much more money if I could do FHA loans. How can I get involve in That FHA without my office being involve.
I like the answer to whoever complains for that $ 89.Some people want to make money byt they do not want to put a penny out.It does not work that way.Even if there was no 30 days warranty, it will not matter to me to know for $ 89 something that does not work. There will be always something to learn for that penny.
I will buy and may be by next year I can make an extra 150K.Thanks.

Well, on your word Terry I ordered the training kit.

I have some loan officers that need comprehensive FHA training.

I'll be reviewing it and when I have time posting my opinion regarding the quality of its content, ease of understanding, and overall value.

I saw the samples and some you can get for free but having all packaged in one and with the CD its worth the $89... I'd even pay more if I had the money! Just ordered it. I am sure it will help.

Despite all the doom and gloom you've heard there is
still a hungry market out there... FHA is the answer

It have listened to the CD and reveiwed the manual as a whole and found it to be informative overall. I think this would be very useful and beneficial to someone that is completely green when it comes to FHA. So I would say that it is definately worth the money paid for it and is not a bad manual to have around the office for general reference for all.

I would give it a thumbs up on value and usefulness.

The FHA training program not only comes in printed
form it also includes a CD so you'll have permanent
copies of everything.

I love this product!

I don't know Terry, have never purchased anything from him.

I did, however, take a FHA training course at the NAMB Annual Convention and this is the material they used.

It is well worth it and written in plain english...my only critisism is that it doesn't go a whole lot into the Hud approval process, but it would be perfect for broker's already FHA approved who simply want to learn as much as possible. The forms are great and I still use them all the time.

Thanks for that info, Andrew...

I know there are many state Broker Associations and major
lenders who use this training material also.

There's a few references I use which are probably not going to be worthwhile to anyone experienced but I find them useful. The first is http://answers.hud.gov which is a good resource for many (but not all) of your FHA related questions. You can also e-mail questions to HUD via this site.

Another resource I've been pleasantly surprised with is Countrywide's Government Help Desk. I've called and left messages and I always get a repsonse within 4 hours. For example, I'll call around 4pm on Thursday and get a call back around 10-10:30 am Friday.

The number is 1-866-248-6437 or you can email them at jaxflahelp@countrywide.com

And for the poster who was interested in getting HUD approved, for what it's worth here's the HUD site http://www.hud.gov/groups/lenders.cfm

Hope that helps. Thanks for the headsup on the training Terry.

By all means take a look at Gary's free manual. I've looked
at every free source of FHA training I could find. I still haven't
found one I thought was as good as this one.

There's a reason why nearly 40 state broker associations as well
as several major banks use this particular product as their source
of FHA training. The free stuff is available to them as well.

Hi Michael...

I received all the material in 3 days. Besides the manual,
it includes a CD ROM and some other useful stuff... plus, continuous
updates. Whenever FHA changes anything we know about it instantly.

T,

I wanted to let you know that I got all the FHA stuff. It showed up a couple days after I ordered it. It is exactly what I needed. I can see why so many use it. Even if I have been doing FHA for years, it would be a great reference manual.

I'm selling my copy of ABC's of FHA Lending only because I'm quitting the industry altogether after 7 years. I can tell you that it's awesome and I read it from cover to cover. Please email me a fair offer and I'll ship it to you from MN or you could even pick it up in the Twin Cities. It was updated April 2008 and has all the March 6th, 2008 changes included plus free updates for life.

This guide is very comprehensive and you also get "The Power of Targeting Ultra-Niches" - Seven Steps to Successful FHA Marketing.

I'll send you my phone number if you want to discuss it after you email me.

Still no offers on the FHA training book? It's a bargain, especially if I sold it to you for 1/2 price + actual shipping. It's in like new condition.
