Hi all!
I just want to let you all know. don't use secretuniversity.com for any programs. They don't have any responsibilities after they took your money. My mentor only beleives in his theory. We tested his theory out by sending 15k mailers peice but the result only 8 calls coming back. I emailed him about the result and they want me to pay another 3 hours for it. This is the first campain we had with them. If you all look at my results, you would see why I wouldnt suggest anyone use them for the service. I told them if my session was over can they provide the proof of hour log in. They said it is confidential. They can't provide to me. 2 things: they can't provide the hours, they dont back up with their campain in my mailers. The mentors always said it is going to work. but my results was proven. it is not.
I just want to let all of LO and business owner knows about this website.

I paid $900 for 3 hours. I was going to do the $1900 session with the owner but after this, I am not going to.

I didn't think the owner was the mentor that was the "expert" on direct mail.

$900 for 3 hours of what? That's ridiculous, no matter what they teach, unless it's how to grow money on trees!

Consider that even most attorneys don't charge 300 bucks an hour and now you have discovered the SECRET... You will need a lot of lubricant before they are done with you.

i miss Secret. he was always a straight shooter and didn't hold anything back.

I also bought 5 cd's from Peter.

I zipped through the almost blank cd's while
I was in the Philippines in about a half an hour.

I probably would have been better entertained looking at Tony the Tigers picture on the frosted flakes cereal box.

I was floored! Luckly they all like to drink over there so I was able to completely forget about my total waste of money....at least I did until this topic...Thanks

well it's gotta be done with tact. can't just go crazy, but you can speak your mind and tell the truth all the time in a tasteful way and i think it's appropriate in any setting.

He had some good info on here but for myself and the others posting here that got stuffed, don't you want to consider that he was only setting people up for a purchase?

Don't you just have to question all the "you are going to L/O hell stuff" as a way to have you need to buy his BLANK CDs!

One of the all-time rants was the use of the word "university"; whether it was an accredited university. I miss MortgageMan, too.

Seriously has anyone ever had moderate success with these marketing companies. I see them here all the time promoting their services and yet to hear a success story. The best way is learn the right way by doing it yourself. Its easier then you think. Test and test and test. You dont need to send out 15k to test. You can send out 5k and test. Just think about what will make the client interested in opening the letter and calling you. Create curiosity. My experience is to promote Benefit and not rate. Try to seperate yourself from every freaking mortgage mailer that you see promoting low rates. Its a process but when you perfect your campaign you will have business for life. My advice sell benefit not rate.

All the cd's and programs that are out there are a rip off. They are selling snake oil. If they could do it better than ourselves why aren't they making a fortune in mortgages themselves.
There just is no substitute for honest, hard and consistent work.
Sorry, after over 2 decades in the bus., I can say that there is no HOLY GRAIL to be found.

He quoted me a rate for expert advice for $150 hour. He did mention a new book for sale in future.

Very true. Just do the leg work and you will be ok. Honestly 10k should be enough to test. But only test to market for 1 person yourself then adjust according once you find the right amount of ROI.

I email the owner and mentor..they said my session was over and I have to pay more in order for them to continue..So I told them I am not going to pay more. I told the owner that I didnt believe it going to work in the first place. And John Fowler said dont email him anymore. I never heard anything from them since. Also, I post here for one week..they dont dare to reply. I learned my lession in hard way. Secreuniversity.com told me that they been teaching a lots ppl how to be better in business and all. But they dont even register with BBB until I confronted with the owner..and he got mad about it..Now they finally register with BBB in 3 months or so ago. If you go to BBB and check it out their history you would see. The owner has some class that teaching ppl how to operate their business better but he doensnt do it right. I shoulda know better

I don't know, but I ran across Secret on brokerfest.com and all I could see was a very opinionated BSer. There was not much in his posts that was worth while.
