I actually just started using First NLC roughly 2 weeks ago, so unless they had multiple sides, I don't think they are out of biz.

Interesting. Maybe someone can start a "death pool", like some celebrity death pools.

Jason, First NLC closed more loans last month than ever in their history. The rep was in my office yesterday.

Lime absorbed Meritage.......from what I've heard from a friend who was at Meritage when it went down, there wasn't anything left to buy.

I wonder if their (Secured Funing)Retail is still going strong? I started there years ago and they were a strong company. Wasn't impressed with their wholesale service though.

My understanding is that Lime quit funding as of last week, due to the absorption or maybe they're going too?

I had a loan close with MLN that was to fund 12/28 (that they had the nerve to push to close AND charge the client an "expedite" fee)..never happened. No volunteering from Lehman to step up, either. No phone calls from anyone. Thank you to New Century for bailing out my deal! Closed AGAIN over a week ago and this time funded!!!!!

MLN IS LEHMAN BROS.... 10000 posts about it. Finalized, done, happened already and verified in print and also verbally to me from BNC reps and I even received an email from my MLN rep announcing it.

Douggie wholesale was bought out by Douggie prime. But Douggie is wondering if it was a good move or not....so they may split up again.
