Arizona property.
Straw Bail(sp?) exterior walls, 90%ltv, gift of funds for down payment, no reserves, full income documentation, 680 FICO.
Any help appreciated!

If the appraisal comes back as post and beam construction problem solved. otherwise try flagstar

Its actually a pretty nice looking home; stucco exterior, sheet rock on the interior. the only way you can tell that it is straw bale is that the walls are like 3 foot thick! I bet the r-factor is off the charts.

Do they use wood studs also or is it all straw in the middle?

It's post and beam framed with the bales in the middle. they are really cool and extremly efficient. Try to find some red neck to punch through three feet of wall
