Today I'm going to focus all my thoughts on doom and gloom. I'm going to worry all day, blame the ecomony for my business slow downs and complain to anyone who'll listen.

Wait! Business is actually good. I really don't have energy to spend on all that worry and d&g chatter.

Maybe I'll do some database management and get a new email blast ready to send to my clients instead. Snowbirds are in town - I've only hit them once this quarter.

Maybe I'll get togeher a list of CPAs from Yahoo yellow pages and call a bunch on Monday morning to see if any of them want to get some free adverts on my email newsletter, in exchange for the contact info on thier clients. Maybe they'll give me some space in thier email blasts? Preferred partner progam? (It worked last week and I got 2,000 new contacts)

Maybe I'll create a new format for my newsletter to go along with the new year ahead...a fresh look.

I just love free marketing, I'm so greatful the internet and email came along. Somehow my busy little brain just wont stay focused on the doom & gloom.

Go away with you upbeat self ...

Seriously though, if posting an upbeat message ups your positive energy, then more power to ya. Very nice.

Your so right!

Lot's of apps out there! And with the new Government required procedures, maybe .05% of your initial contacts actually make it to close! And the best part? If the housing market keeps going down, the percentage of foreclosures from newly originated loans will still be high!

This is a good market if you're compensated hourly. If your compensated on closings, things ain't so hot. Most area's of the Country are hurting. I know lifers in our industry (coast to coast) who are trying to figure out another career path. That's sad.

Our industry is the perfect example of how GOVERNMENT SCREWS THINGS UP!

Good post, people that are sitting at home waiting for the government to save them, will be waiting a very long time.

Those that want to succeed go out and make it happen. Yes the tide is against us, just swim a little harder, keep your eye on the shoreline.

I never had the urge to go into politics, I totally allow somebody else to make the rules - I just try to play by them.
