Fort Hood
(CNN) -- Seven people were killed and at least 12 others wounded in shootings at Fort Hood, Texas, on Thursday, according to a senior Pentagon official.
One person is in custody in connection with the incident, CNN affiliate KXXV reported.
One attacker has been "neutralized" and one has been "cornered," Lt. Gen Russel Honore, former deputy commander at Fort Hood, told CNN.

Fox now reporting that Senator Kay Baily Huthcison
forwarded info from a conversation she had with a
General who said that they have as many as 30 injured
in addition to the 7 fatalities.

My condolence goes out to the families of dead folks.
I have no doubt that if two killers are active duty soldiers or former soldiers who served in iraq and/or afghanistan.
This is just to show that how dangerous we're sending soldiers overseas and they're getting too angry. Just like nam all over again. |

the rounds of 15 month tours now are far worst than in vietnam.
The government needs to realize that some of these solders really do need lots of help. My friend's boy was a Marine...when he came back from Iraq he was a mess.
This is what our country will be dealing with, as the long term aftermath of Iraq.
Very sad... |

Now we have soldiers killing innocent at the base, one soldier is named nasan (sp) and he converted into islamic..
it doesn't matter whether our soldiers convert from one religion to another, it is proven from time after time that there is NO PURPOSES for wars..
America is well known as invaders. Look what we have done to other countries. I know there are a lot of bad leaders out there but how different than our corrupted congress right here in this mother land????

A law enforcement official identified the shooting suspect as Army Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan.
Anyone else think a terrorist may have infiltrated the US Army to do this activity??

| I think sometimes Civilians in general go about their days without even thinking about what a service member goes through, I know there were times when I was active duty that I absolutely hated the stress of deployment, I could not imagine to think if I were in the Military at this point with a family, bills, New born's, relationships family, to still think about deployment, It is a sad sad day. Since this appears to be a trifecta or what someone will consider a conspiracy I hope that the Obama Administration sees why it is we cannot over deploy people, Perpetual war is not the answer. Deployment is scary for the people going to war but imagine leaving your family that need you around? Leaving your family would be what I would fear most at this time in my life. God Bless America and her Warriors May god Save them from Harm. |

So far I've learned that the dead Americans at Pearl Harbor were warmongers; the WTC, the Civil War, the Revolutionary War, both World wars... had "no purpose" at all and there is absolutely no reason that any American should ever fight back because it is purposeless.
I've learned that America is currently well-known for it's invasive and intrusive control over every nation on the planet, which must be why everyone pretends to love us, as we are obviously in charge of the entire planet now and have established bases throughout the tiniest of known crevices to inflict our punishment and torture eternally to all of mankind. (and they say there's no Satan!... or is it God? I forget)
But I still have not figured out if a 'gobberment' is tastier than a Wonka Bar, or whether I can get a Golden Ticket from buying one.
All of this from one nutcase with a gun. Who says public education doesn't work? |
