| So much for forking out 30 mil. for your own campaign.....another fork in the side. Unless they fight it. Don't put that past a lib. |

thank god , but I heard it ws more like 120M , where did you get 30 from ? BTW , i consider myself liberal but voted against Corzine , labels is what has gotten us in this mess , not looking at the man and its policies but blindly voting a ticket or a label |

you got that right , but short of a revolt , what will we do , Amercicans dont revolt like other countries , our leaders have us trained well |

I was listening to a reporter describe the British system of elections. Their national elections cost $75 million total. All candidates get equal free time of TV. Sounds good right? Well, the reporter goes on to say that many people there are beginning to think that our system is better. Go figure.
I had not paid much attention to Corzine's tenure in NJ so I did not know how much he was not liked there. Propertery taxes have always been a big issue in NJ and will continue to be regardless of the change in party in the govenor's office.
Regarding the ability to spend huge amounts of personal money to pursue political office [Bloomberg, Corzine, Romney, etc.], it makes me uncomfortable. I do not like it even though I know that it does not guarantee wins.
