Don't be confused Chrysler is an American company, Fiat owns a percentage currenly at 20%.

"Marchionne is expected to increase his stake in Chrysler to 35% from 20%"

What he means by changing names, is taking away the larger Americn brands and use the Fiat platform, or smaller better selling cars right now. This has what killed the American car companies not changing with the times. If gas prices continue to increase a smart move.

I would buy!

Wouldn't buy it. Chrysler is on life support and Obama needs to decide when to cut it off.

id take a Ram 2500 Diesel. that Cummings motor is the best on the market. if i was in the market for a van, id take one of those Dodge Sprinter vans over the Ford or Chevy too.

other then that, no. but thats not to say they wont whip up something over the next couple years.

ya know, chrysler has a lot of history in this country. I feel bad that a company like Chrylser is falling apart. Budweiser sold their company to Belgium Investors.

What's next, mc donalds sold to china?

I've owned Ford/Lincoln for as long as I can remember.
