Time to share more email.....this was said to have been written by Buddy Hackett's widow, Sherry Hackett. (Why anyone would like about being his widow, I have no clue). But argue the content, not the author. This summed up for me how I feel. Some of it factually off? Probably, but please demonstrate where. I have tried to research various statements, and have found a couple. I never have claimed to know it all, as much as many would like to accuse me of saying I do. I will say, I am looking forward to Tuesday.
"WE NOTICED"
President Obama:
Today I read of your administrations' plan to re-define September 11 as a National Service Day. Sir, it's time we had a talk.........
During your campaign, Americans watched as you made mockery of our tradition of standing and crossing your heart when the Pledge of Allegiance was spoken. You, out of four people on the stage, were the only one not honoring our tradition. I think it was the National Anthem that was being played, however, this photo makes him appear very unpatriotic. http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mark-finkelstein/2007/10/20/obama-no-hand-heart-pledge-either-will-msm-notice
YES, "We noticed."
During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say that you intended to visit all 57 states. We all know that Islam, not America , has 57 states.
YES, "We noticed."
When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto the pile without leaning over. It is thought the author meant McCain http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/images/2008/09/11/mccainobamagrndzeropeterfoleyap.jpeg
YES, "We noticed." Every time you apologized to other countries for America 's position on an issue we have wondered why you don't share our pride in this great country. When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and our beliefs, you have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the British Crown beyond belief.
YES, "We noticed."
When your pastor of 20 years, "God-damned America " and said that 9/11 was America 's chickens coming home to roost" and you denied having heard recriminations of that nature, we wondered how that could be. You later disassociated yourself from that church and Pastor Wright because it was politically expedient to do so.
YES, "We noticed."
When you announced that you would transform America , we wondered why. With all her faults, America is the greatest country on earth. Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, "if not for America and the people who built her, you wouldn't be sitting in the White House now.
" Prior to your election to the highest office in this country, you were a senator from Illinois and from what we can glean from the records available, not a very remarkable one.
YES, "We noticed."
All through your campaign and even now, you have surrounded yourself with individuals who are basically unqualified for the positions for which you appointed them. Worse than that, the majority of them are people who, like you, bear no special allegiance, respect, or
affection for this country and her traditions.
YES, "We noticed."
You are 9 months into your term and every morning millions of Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you. You seek to saddle working Americans with a health care/insurance reform package that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt this nation.
YES, "We noticed."
We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives know that we are not in favor of these crippling expenditures and we are labeled "un-American","racist". We wonder how we are supposed to let you know how frustrated we are. You have attempted to make our protests seem isolated and insignificant. Until your appointment, Americans had the right to speak out.
YES, "We noticed."
On September 11, 2001, there were no Republicans or Democrats, only Americans. And we all grieved together and helped each other in whatever way we could. The attack on 9/11 was carried out because we are Americans.
And YES, "We noticed."
There were many of us who prayed that as a black president you could help unite this nation. In six months you have done more to destroy this nation than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us.
YES, "We noticed."
September 11 is a day of remembrance for all Americans. You propose to make 9/11 a "National Service Day". While we know that you don't share our reverence for 9/11, we pray that history will report your proposal as what it is...a disgrace.
YES, "We noticed."
You have made a mockery of our Constitution and the office that you hold. You have embarrassed and slighted us in foreign visits and policy.
YES, "We noticed."
We have noticed all these things. We will deal with you.. When Americans come together again, it will be to remove you from office.
Take notice.

Anyone can make accusations all day via cut & paste. It takes you all of two seconds to do so. Then you ask us to do the research and dispute it.
No thanks.

No one asked you to research it....but I researched each and every statement. I changed the print from light blue to red where I found corrections were needed. Both rather minor.
I think time will prove this correct. The tide is turning against Obama, hard and it picks up pace with each passing month. The tell-tale sign will be elections one year from now. |

... and the Reopublicans will continue to eat their young and the Palin movement will prevail in their efforts to purge the party down to a few true Conservatives. You will have a cleansed Republican party that can't win any national elections. Yep, that tide may turn agains Obama but iut will drown the Republicans. The Tea baggers would not be even a blip on the national political radar.

CMG, you are so right. Just like when Reagan was told he was too conservative. Worked out pretty good for the Republicans then.

I don't trust people to know the difference between facts and opinion when providing evidence for this kind of stuff. Especially those with obvious partisanship bias.

| My god! I just can't stand the arguments anymore.... I mean realistically we were left with no choices this year... both Obama and McCain were two horrific and terribly embarrassing choices... funny how I keep hearing Palins name like she was anymore than shame icing on the republican cake! And don't say independent because we all know it came down to Obama and McCain.... I'm not surprised everyone is so pissed off, we had **** for candidates this year when we needed someone great to fix this mess! Everyone keeps pointting fingers at the other parties like they aren't ALL corupt! Where the is power given there is greed coruption and personal agenda... and that will NEVER change... there is no for the good of the people anymore. Obama is trying to make his mark in history books because he is an arrogant pompous asswipe who thinks he's the next MLK! McCain? Please... where did he go anyway? I dare ask has he fallen off the face of the earth? I'd go hide under a rock if I was him too! Nothing will change just because we whine and ***** about it people..... It's like choosing between drinking urine or eating feces, just because one is worse doesn't make the other a delicacy!! |

LMAO I finally read the actual post in its entirity. So ridiculous.
I completely nailed the fact vs. opinion discrepency.
Case in point:
"There were many of us who prayed that as a black president you could help unite this nation. In six months you have done more to destroy this nation than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us."
This is not a fact. How does one disprove this type of opinion?
I think people can't deal with the amount of information available to them in this day and age, so they outsource the task of forming opinions at the expense of their individuality. |

At this same time in the 2008 Presidential election (3 years out), BamBam wasn't even on the map. There is still plenty of time. The Dems have proven anyone that lacks experience can get elected. And if he keeps screwing up, the people will elect Ronald McDonald. I'm not worried about the good ole boys.....I don't think they'll be running. And I don't think Palin is the answer, either. But she sure makes a perfect ankle biter, a terrier that keeps nipping at BamBam's heels.
Now, the Ditherer in Chief is not supporting our troops, every day wasted, leaving our troops further exposed. Right now, he is losing every single military vote with his indecision.

LOL, amazing, it took this long for anyone to realize half of the list is opinion. But, I do suspect many do feel like he is on his way to destroying this county more than the attacks of 9/11. Again, an opinion and one only time will prove or disprove.
Any others? |

Mrs. Buddy (Sherry) Hackett died in 2007! "WE (I guess she means herself and God) NOTICED", apparently from on High? May she rest in peace, and may the good Lord deliver us from the numbnuts who post these chain emails? Can I get an Amen brother?

Well, what makes 2012 election? I agree that we have poor selection of leaderships who are certified corrupted politicans and that's how the corporates want them to be. Just remember that Corporates run this country so they tell the media and politicans what to do.

| Mandywitch, I can't really say or state a fact that President Obama 3 yrs. ago was not on the map. You keep looking back and trying to raise the dead you may miss out on "real" factual information. How's your we working for you of late? Incidentally, casing point is quite irrelevant he's now President of the USA!! |

Obama is President because GWB was weak since 2004 and let the Republicans run wold with spending. Obama was NOT giving a mandate, he was elected because he was not-Bush.
Just like in 2012, the election will be For-Obama or Aganst-Obama, the Republican candidate will not matter all that much.
