| I have been asked to try to find a way to monetize the accounts receivable for a surgeon. The total AR is roughly $14MM. I am told that the AR is backed by the government. Does anyone have any direction as to how this can be done? Any help is appreciated. |

I would call start with which govt , federal or state ? could be welfare , medicaid , medicare , I guess he is getting out and just wants someone to collect whats due on a percentage basis ? |

Just left you a message.
Veleccio, what you stated would appear to be true. However, he is trying to monetize his AR for another project. He also owns 48 other companies and needs the cash to expand. Since I did post this, I found out they are backed by Medicare. |

Are they backed by Medicare, or, are they billings to Medicare. There is a difference. I do work with some accounts receivable financing companies who can help if they are Medicare billings.

I would need more info on this. Who is paying the receivables? Have they been making timely payments? What is the use of funds?

We have done gov backed receivables before.
We would need to see use of funds, 3 years financials on business, AR/AP Aging and PFS and should be able to give you a prompt answer.
