Can a loan officer who is employed by a federally chartered bank do loan mods using a back end processing (not through the federally chartered bank)?
The state of PA requires that anyone doing loan mods must be licensed unless they are employed by several different places, including federally chartered banks. Would this apply even if the loan mods are being written through a processing dept not with the federally chartered bank?

What's your opinion. I plan on calling the state on Monday but, I was curious to see what others thoughts on this are.

Thanks in advance.
