I am curious about 3 things:
1) in SC, if you are brokering, why is no broker license required?
2) how will you all be affected if ysp/srp is banned?
3) how etched in stone is it that the banking platform will be rolled out Jan. 1, as I have been told, yet your outfit is a division of a bank now?
I am very, very interested in this and will no doubt have no choice but to make a move by year's end, but do have some concerns.
If you are more comfortable with an off-board response, feel free.

RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS:
I am curious about 3 things:
1) in SC, if you are brokering, why is no broker license required? Answer: Because we are a state chartered bank we are license exempt from state broker licensing even though we broker loans.
2) how will you all be affected if ysp/srp is banned? Answer: Not sure and that's one reason why we'll be banking loans (funding in our name) before the end of the year so we don't expect to be effected by any changes coming unless they ban YSP/SRP for all bank which is very unlikely.
3) how etched in stone is it that the banking platform will be rolled out Jan. 1, as I have been told, yet your outfit is a division of a bank now? Answer: It is in stone - we are working on the rollout as I write this.
I am very, very interested in this and will no doubt have no choice but to make a move by year's end, but do have some concerns.
If you are more comfortable with an off-board response, feel free.
WE'VE ALREADY SPOKEN OFFLINE SO PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL ME ANYTIME.
THANKS

Good Afternoon,
My husband and I are currently licensed NC Loan officers but we need to find a good mortgage company to work for. We have been licensed since Oct. 2006, but stopped for about a year. We are in an inactive-approved status with NC Commissioner of Banks. We would love to come on board. We are receiving calls now from old clients that we couldnt close over a year ago but they have cleaned up credit and feel they are ready to go but we are not actively employed... we need to be. We are ready to get back into the industry hard. Please email me at tamara@perfectpostcardservices.com with information.
Hopefully you are licensed in NC and hiring in NC. Please help! |
