Did you get a chance to register? I'm definately running into some resistance as in "this is too good to be true" type of thing that I am trying to dispell. Yes - these really are free. We are in the not too distance future going to be putting a time limit on it of probably a couple of months but even after that we are talking about at least 1-2 months of free leads (8-12 leads). No obligation!

- No, your credit card will NOT be charged later down the line. We do NOT store your card info for the lead sampler program. We verify the card against the name submitted and then delete the data.

- Yes, soon you will be able to buy leads thru the same portal (LeadCenter) if you choose to do so. Pricing will be determined upon LTV, State, Credit, and size of order.

- The Lead Sampler program will be available for free for at least 4 weeks. At some point in the future we will impose a time limit to those participating. Certainly not less than 4 weeks (or 8 leads).

First you have to go to : https://www.loanbright.com/leadcenter/registration/

and register. After you recieve your confirmation email and login you will be able to go back to http://www.loanbright.com/sampler.asp and choose which free leads you want (from the state you have chosen to get leads from).

The Loanbright LeadCenter now offers the ability to purchase additional leads on top of the 2 Free Per Week offer that is still available. The 2 Free will appear with any additional lead orders you may place. We have now placed a 60 day limit on how long you can receive free leads. That should work out to at least 16 free leads per account.

I have received several calls and emails regarding this program from Brokeroutpost readers in the last week or so. Please though post your questions here so I can share the answers with everyone.

The pricing of these leads depends upon the filters applied. As you create an order for leads and add or remove filters you will see the price per lead change dynamically. After you place an order (minimum of 5 leads to get started) and pay for it you can still go back and change the parameters around the order such as the zipcodes or the LTV.

Feel free to create a new account and start an order to see how the pricing works. You won't need a credit card until you are ready to actually start getting leads and checkout.

That is a little lower than I have typically heard. I guess the other factors in here would be your ROI - not knowing what price point you are at and what your numbers are around each closing.

Might be a good time to talk to your account manager and see if there are filters or changes that can be done to optimize your account and lead flow.

If you ever try the LeadCenter program I would be interested in your closing ratio from that. Being completely self-serve you setup your own filters etc. I am wondering if that would is a benefit or a hinderance to your success.

After several messages overnight of problems accessing the Free Leads thru the Sampler program I guess I need to make this note.

To get the Free Leads you MUST register here:

If you try to skip this and register directly at http://www.loanbright.com/leadcenter you will only be able to buy leads (the Select Flex Program) and will not have the LeadSampler program available to you. If you made this mistake please send me a message and we will manually correct this over the weekend.

Thanks to those who have started buying leads along with the 2 free program. If you do want to buy leads the minimum cost to place an order is $35 for 5 leads. Now that is the absolute minimum. If you add in some filters say around LTV or credit that price will rise somewhat.

We have decided to limit the program to 60 days. After that it is possible to but more if you like the quality. So figuring 2 per week for 60 days that should work out to at 16 free to see if the quality matches your expectations.

If you want more after you have recieved your free leads (60 day limit) to buy them the bottom pricing is just $5.99 for Purchase and $9.99 for Refinance. The minimum order is 5 leads so to start you are looking at least a $30 investment. These ARE the exact same leads that you got for free - Select Flex.

Here is the issue, you say that a 1.6% closing ratio is some where around where it should be...Well that is not something you should take pride in. Here is a true example so people can see the true cost.

My account is set up at 6.00 per lead. From jan 2009 until September 2009 i purchased 1284 leads. This adds up to $7704.00. Next you take the number of closed loanbright loans and divide that number into your total cost. $7704.00 / 21 = $366.85 cost per closed loan.

That is too high for any company since you should not exceed the 15% cost of marketing/advertising.

Maybe if your company would cut back the amount of companies it sold the same lead to, the conversion cost would increase...Thus you would be able to increase the cost of your leads due to the higher roi.

I'm curious where you got the 15% marketing budget metric? Honestly that seems kinda low. I'd love to hear what others expect to spend as a percentage of gross revenue on marketing. I suspect for others it is much higher?
