Hello everyone, just thought I'd share this link. Great free information for newbie LO's like me:
http://www.topproducerstrategies.com/articlearchive.php
I know I have not been posting much but I prefer to search for the questions and read as much as I can before I ask the question. Though I am sure I will contradict that some time. But nothing wrong with asking right?
A little about me:
I am from the south florida area, I am currently a law enforcement officer, I do have my florida's mortgage broker license, but I have NO experience what so ever. I am just trying to learn as much as I can by utilizing wonderful websites like BO and reading books such as the one I am currently reading, "Your Successful Career As A Mortgage Broker by David Reed" and am currently downloading audio clips from Erik's website, loanofficersurvival.com (BTW Erik, Im also in the Broward County area so just introduce yourself if I ever pull you over, haha, Im just kiddin, I am grateful to have people like you that are willing to give valuable information away for free, I appreciate your time). Well, best of success to all and look forward to networking with all of you. |

| Welcome! I too am new- from a few months back anyways, so I know exactly what you're going through. The business is a challenge, but I am starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Best bet is to market the hell out of yourself all day/ every day. It ***** cold-calling and gets repetitive but no one knows you exist until they meet you. Go meet some realtors at open houses at the very least. People debate that strategy all day long here, but for newbies, we HAVE to meet and greet. Good luck to you. Scott |
