"Tens of billions of dollars (from taxpayer-funded bailouts) ... flowed straight through AIG into the coffers of foreign corporations and foreign banks."

I recalled there were couple of people here have supported bank bailout. It doesn't benefit American taxpayers.

Here is a list of AIG counter parties paid off through the AIG bailout...

Société Générale (France)

Goldman Sachs (GS, Fortune 500)

Merrill Lynch International

Deutsche Bank (Germany)

Calyon, Crédit Agricole (France)

UBS (Switzerland)

Barclays (England)

Coral Purchasing, DZ Bank (Germany)

Bank of Montreal (Canada)

Rabobank (the Netherlands)

Royal Bank of Scotland

Bank of America

Wachovia

HSBC (England)

Barclays Global Investors

Some of the foreign companies are listed here. The ones in bold are domestic companies who received TARP money. And paid it back. Guess how? Through the money they got from AIG who got from the taxpayer bailout.

So these banks who were heralded as healthy and profitable actually paid back TARP with taxpayer money funneled to them through the AIG bailout. Taxpayer money paid back with taxpayer money.

Nothing has changed with the banks. With the exception of the toxic assets they off loaded to the taxpayer, they still have toxic assets and are toxic themselves. But the government and the sunshine media want you to believe otherwise.

What is scarier is our politicians are aware of this and stealing taxpayer money before our eyes. They are all a butch of Madoff's if you ask me, put them all in GITMO.

Will we? Most American are brainwashed and keep going back and fourth from Republican to Democrat as if one is any better than the other. Time to step up and kick them all out of office!

And that's the catch. Taxation has always been a Ponzi scheme.

The post-war Baby Boom of the 1950s was much like our recent Housing Boom. SS and Medicare were always meant to be a 'pyramid' scam. They would always work best only as long as the population grew, just like housing values. In fact, these Boomers were also over-appraised for years (the years they would spend in the workforce contributing to the scam).

Fast-forward 20 years and you hit the 1970s, where the 'babies' finally began to work and the coffers would overflow each year with far fewer collecting benefits for the next 40 years or so. Like Madoff, the shortsighted politicians began to skim all the money instead of actually investing or saving it as promised, and despite knowing that the population boom had ended and the USA must return to normal levels of SS/Med contributions as these people began to reach the age to collect. It would be someone else's problem 40 years later.

That would be 40 years after, which began around 2000. Now, of course, we are being "warned" that WE have destroyed everything merely by aging. It couldn't possibly be the skimming and transferring of all the deposited money for their 5000-dollar hookers and private jets, oh no... It's the old people's fault! Blame the peons.

Now, you are left with only two solutions; Figure out a way to have millions of Americans die before trying to collect the benefits or stop spending their tax money like a bottomless pit.

Well, the spending is never going to stop. Never. It's a free ride on your dime, and like a bad ex-wife, you merely trusted the wrong woman. You see the answer now... Let 'em croak. That's why common-sense ideas are not being performed or funded. This is all intentional, just to save the elite style of living for the bigwigs.

Sure, it's all random. No, wait, this is all just a 'Bush' by-product that happened recently. No, it's random. Aw, heck... Ain't life funny?
