From Politico....

Palin to make announcement from Wasilla at 3

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will make what her office is only calling an "announcement" at 11 AM local (3 Eastern) from her home in Wasilla.

Speculation is raging both in Alaska and in the Lower 48 that she'll reveal her plans regarding next year's gubernatorial race.

So much for today being a slow news day.

If we are to have any hope of recapturing the WH from the budget buster Dems in 2012 we have to hope she sticks to Alaska.

The excitement is palpable, almost unbearable.

It would not surprise me in the least if she is not running anymore. I'm sticking to my theory of her just seeking fame out of this and going into a TV show or something. Her family is not going to sit through silly attacks just to run for office, it isn't worth it.

This takes away a big liberal target. Now what? lol

CNN reporting she will not run for re-election...That could mean a couple of different things.

So does that mean that Obama will resign before the next Presidential election?

Nope! It only secures his re-election. Repubs. endlessly giving the president gifts. Sanford and his black Brazilian soul mate and now the quitter Palin. You can't get any better than if you made it all up in order to start a rumor! LMAO!

Yeah, it is pretty funny how they give away ammo.

Not even John Edwards would stoop so low as to have a mistress! Heck, no Democratic president would ever cheat on his wife, that's for sure! And there is just no way a Dem governor, like Elliot Spitzer was, would resign from their job for any reason. One thing we all know... Barack Obama is certainly not a guy who would ever leave an elected post until his term is up!

I'll have some of the red, please.

What gives man? You sound very disappointed that Palin resigned. She hit the jackpot financially but the toilet politically ... but who cares when the money is rolling in faster than an Alaskan winter.

There you go again. Inserting race and ethnicity into a conversation you know nothing about. And, as usual, you are wrong.

Again, I challenge you to a fact based debate.

Are you kidding? I'm congratulating her on going for the cash!

I was referring to the comment about the GOP giving "gifts" with bad behavior, as if nobody else has ever done anything bad either.

I think Palin needs the $, and can't make enough as Governor. Like her or not(I don't), that is a shame that the lawsuits against her have cost 500k personally.

I'm with you on this one. She has an opportunity to make great money and finally experience the world outside of Wassilla so go for it I say. I don't hate her in any way. The GOP should be kissing her azz for what she did for it in the last election. She should also be kissing McCain's azz for "discovering" her.
