Welcome the big snakes! What a shame they can't live in the Northeast :)

They are doing an experiment in SC right now with several large pythons to see if they can survive there year round. They put them in a large out door pit and will see how they adapt to the climate there. The snakes are all male incase they escape so they cannot breed.

"The snakes are all male in case they escape so they cannot breed."

AK 47, above

And we all know there are a lot of hot female pythons slithering around SC.
God knows the males have to be prevented from getting out into that world.

People that own pythons are frequently (not always)the same kind of people that buy a perfectly good Pit Bull and turn it into a dangerous dog. They want a pet that will scare the sh1t out of people. Oh, kind of like the trailer trash whose 2 year old was killed. Anyhow, once the thing becomes big and hard to manage, they let it go. Maybe as part of Obama's new health plan they could sterilize these miscreants.

America should have a python roundup and take all they catch and turn them loose in congress, then at least we'd have snakes managing snakes and congress could learn what a strangle hold felt like....now there's a concept !

"In 2004, wildlife researchers found a gory tableau in the Everglades — a 13-foot python had swallowed a six-foot alligator whole. Then the snake's abdomen burst open, killing it and leaving both animals forever conjoined in reptilian mutually assured destruction."

YOU GOTTA LOVE IT!
