My bank has put no rates today, and they usually do at 9-10am.

My friends are telling me it's like that everywhere.
Anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks

OMG...I only go to work 3 times a week, and it's never on a Monday. :)
Well at least it's a paid holiday!

Question - the market is open then why arent wholesalers open?

The bond market is open and the NYSE is tearing it up today.

Stock markets are open, bond markets are closed. That's why there are no rates.

What's everyone hearing? Should rates be better when bond market opens back up tomorrow?

I think they should... a few days in a row of MBS trending with stocks as investors pulled out of the market completely. If the stock market is getting better due to the rumblings of how the bailout will work I assume we'll get plenty of MBS buyers too. Then again, I could be 100% wrong.
