Mudslinging aside, there is only one record that is going to matter. A voting record. Actions speak louder than words. Which candidate supports what you believe in?
Democrat Candidate Obama's Record http://www.votesmart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=9490
VP Candidate Biden's Record http://www.votesmart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=53279
Republican Candidate McCain's Record http://www.votesmart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=53270
VP Palin's Veto Record (no vote record due to office held) http://www.votesmart.org/official_veto.php?can_id=27200
Libertarian Candidate Bob Barr's Record http://www.votesmart.org/voting_category.php?can_id=22028
Much more objective information is available from this site (speeches, endorsements, affiliations...) Take the time to see if your candidate is who they claim to be. |

| Now why would you want to go and influence someone's vote with facts? |

| Great site, thanks. And without looking, Obama. I've studied all before except Barr. |

I believe it stands for no vote. I don't think a present vote is allowed in Congress. I could be wrong. |

Appears all these guys have the NV's. Why would they not vote? Is it out of their jurisdiction, or they just copping out?

My guess, which is all it is, they know if a particular piece of legislation is going to pass or not. If their vote is needed they head back to Washington, if not, they keep doing whatever is it they are doing.
In McCain, and Obama's case they were both campaigning. |

| Check out Bob Barr's vote record. At least he was there for nearly all of the votes. Out of 100's of votes, he only had one no show vote on a minor issue he had already voted on before. Whether or not you agree with his politics, you must admit that's commitment. |

| Bump the Vote! Voting is your responsibility. If you don't vote, don't whine! |
