WaMu ousts CEO Kerry Killinger - report

Last update: 9:27 p.m. EDT Sept. 7, 2008SAN FRANCISCO (Marke*****ch) -- Washington Mutual is expected to announce Monday the departure of its Chief Executive Officer Kerry Killinger, according to a published report.
A story in the online edition of the Wall Street Journal late Sunday, citing people familiar with the situation, reported Killinger was told Thursday by WaMu's new board chairman, Stephen Frank, and another director that the board had concluded Killinger should retire.
The bank also is expected to name Alan Fishman, currently chairman of New York commercial mortgage broker Meridian Capital Group, to succeed Killinger, according to sources cited in the Journal.

| This is just getting out of control, I hate to say it I try to remain positive, but heck we could be dealing with someting much worse than the great depression, the government can do nothing to stop this steamroller effect. |

As long as helicopter ben is at the switch, no need to worry.
We will just print (money) our way out of this.
Look at the auto. industry, they are asking for billions in loans. |
