I saw this on cnnmoney.com - pretty good comparison on McCain/Obama's tax policies, etc. What do you think?

Here's a problem with the thinking in this article. Tax cuts do not cost the government a single penny. Leaving money in my pocket that I have earned is not a government expense. Why don't people get this?

Because they haven't spent much time thinking about it. And to be honest, most people don't care.
You're a Libertarian ... which means you're a THINKER.
Most people aren't Thinkers, and most people don't really care enough to invest the time required to understand the issues.
Sad but true.

this article compares their economic plan side by side
Both are good and let you decide - No So called Liberal Bias

I went through each item listed and confirmed what I already thought. McCain is a little more conservative and free market based in his solutions. Obama wants to control things through more government intervention. It's amazing when seen side-by-side how little they differ on the selected issues.
I did not see the 2nd Amendment, abortion, or other lightning rod issues compared.
Neither of the candidates have earned my vote. I see McCain as slightly being the lesser of the two evils. I am now more convinced to vote Libertarian after reading this article. The issues I am most concerned with are not addressed at any time by the Dem's, or the GOP.

I'm right there with you.
As you probably already know.
Looks like Libertarian for me ... or maybe Constitution Party. Not sure yet.

Exactly like cutting your YSP to 1/2% from 1% because of a negative change in pricing, this is not an expense!

I like the Constitution Parties platform, except fot their specific inclusion of Jesus throughout. I am a believer, but the specific mention of Christianity as a basis of the party over other religions is too close to crossing the line.

We're completely on the same page. That's exactly the same reason I have my reservations with the Constitution Party. Way too much thumping going on, and not enough focus on the basics.
Libertarian it is ... I supppose.... even though I'm not too thrilled with Barr.

I know.
Can you imagine RP in a two hour "Town Hall" setting with those other two knuckleheads with equal time allocated to the three of them?
I would pay big money to see that happen.

Well, here's what I was thinking.
Paul / Ventura .... Independent.
And they would win the election if the press covered them.

The press is available because the GOP does not want them to interview Palin
That is a bad move
Jesse would go where no other candidate could go
MTV
ESPN
WWE - Imagine hime going to every monday night WWE even for 2 months - Vince McMahon is such a media Wh*re. HE would make it happen
Arnold would probably back
RP could possibly talk Blomberg and Trump to back him

And I do not think someone in a RP campaign would mistaken Walter Reed Middle School for Walter Reed Medical Center
Sixth-grader Joshua Popue offered the explanation most commonly being floated Friday both at the Irvine Avenue campus and in political circles: Somebody in the McCain campaign mistook Walter Reed Middle School for the military's troubled Walter Reed Army Medical Center when preparing the Republicans' high-tech video background wall.
"McCain messed up. He was talking about Walter Reed hospital, and he used our picture by mistake," said 11-year-old Joshua. Skyla Swafford, 12, took a more charitable view. "They picked us because our school is one of the nicer schools in the city. They keep it clean and sanitary," the seventh-grader suggested.

No kidding? That's sad.
I haven't heard about that one yet.
Do you have a link?
