Provided they are still in existence-they are for owner occupied properties only right?
Sorry for the dumb question-no one in my office has used DPA before for their clients. |

| Only FHA accepts DPA (for another month), and FHA only insures owner occ. |

As I mentioned above though: go to the web site below and voice your opinions to your local Senate in order to bring back the DPA program:

I was just introduced to the grant program that is available from The Federal Home Loan Board...I just downloaded the info and hope to read up on it tomorrow. Anyone else using it? It's a soft second up to 10K, used w/ FHA loans. Supposedly much simpler than the State bond loans. |

There are issues that seem to be confusing in declining markets. I would love to hear your take on it.
Rumor mill has it that the DPA Alliance with the National Association of Builders is working on something.
