I stumbled upon a deal where they need about $50mm, I have the Executive Summary. It's a Cruise Ship which will be mainly docked at various parts around the world, it's main attraction is the Tax Free Casino.

Honestly, I don't have a clue where to start.

Thanks guys.

I have a contact in London that would be very interested in this. Email me and we can discuss this in more detail.

How did you "stumble" upon this one?

And, why would you accept the deal if you have no clue how to handle it? I dont understand why people do that, its just a waste of time for everyone involved typically.

Well, because I'm helping his daughter refinance the house she currently lives in, and since I'm working with a Credit Union he has the impression that as a Federal Bank I can help him.

What I'm trying to do is pass on the deal to someone who knows how to manage this, I all want is to learn the process and get a small compensation. The person handling it will be speaking directly to the borrower, so no time is wasted.

Funny how homeowners act so differently because of those three words...Federal Credit Union.

Good Job. Just the referral of the daughter is an accomplishment considering the time invested.

That would be the right thing to do obviously..

Say no to money? There is no money in trying to do loans you cannot do. Time is money.

I was actually asked to finance acquisition (more like flip) of some cattle once by a guy who had no experience of anything to speak of. Talk about bull****.

There's a lot on nonsense out there and just because you want to doesn't mean you can.

Its always a bad sign when some say "its always been a dream of mine" etc. That's because you are dreaming.

Some people have the "self entitlement" disease and get stuck with there head in the clouds.

Whenever someone with lofty goals comes my way I ask them for two things, business plan and a feasibility study. If they have no clue what those are then I tell them thanks, but no thanks.

If the debt can be serviced, we can get it done.

Please send a summary, use of funds, and financials on property and borrower and I should be able to give you a prompt answer.

Very Best,
