Yes I am an owner and just got had. I played a stupid game trying to save a buck and yes yes yes, I know that is my fault and you get what you paid for, but I want to help you all not make the same mistake.
There is a lead company by the name of PPF or Paid Per Funding. You pay on your funded loans and they Guarentee FRESH leads daily. Once you close you pay a flat fee depending on your agreement with them. Well needless to say, apparently FRESH and QUALITY and Exclusive means, sold several times and over 3 months old. Out 308 leads in the past month, 78 have been contacted and have been either closed or have not applied in the last 90 days. Some were even older then a year!
Anyway keep your eyes open and BUYER BEWARE. LEARN FROM my stupidity. Now I am with an atty and having to fight a longer battle. Not worth saving a buck. By the way, yes I did call 7 references and all of them gave them acceptable reviews of converting 1 to 3% per month. Non of them complained of what I have been either. I have also made 23 phone calls and 16 emails to resolve this prior to an atty and no luck! They even transferred my call to DOMINOES PIZZA since they have caller ID. Kind of funny actually!
Good luck out there. |

So, you were getting free leads and were not happy with the quality of those free leads?
Can I have some of what you're smoking? |

NO one SAID FREE. I paid and upfront fee for their system and another flat fee upfront for the fundings.. So NO they were paid a few grand to get very OLD LEADS that I could have purchased for pennies. |

| The company I work for used them once before and did not have a positive experience. Plus they want money in an escrow account! |

You're right, I'm an idiot for not interpreting what you said as you having paid an upfront fee for these leads.

Listen no one is calling you an idiot. If that is how you feel sorry... I am simply trying to help others avoid what has happened to me. Take the advice or waste your own money. That simple. As for the your feelings, sorry, only you can answer for that. |

My feelings aren't hurt.
Lead providers are known as the scum of the earth, 99% of the time. It's not surprising. However, my buddy has a good service going, but has all but gone solely towards insurance agents. You're more than welcome to call him. www.yahoohomefinance.com Douglas Bontemps. He's almost too honest for the lead vendor business. |

All the more reason to do a great job, and take care of your current clients, and earn referrals, than continually trying to find new clients.
Lead junkies all eventually run into brick walls. |
