I just started watching the show, it was very enertaining to me, and kind of motivating. Any of you LA people know these guys? Or seen the show?
Here is the "About"
Bravo gives viewers an inside look at the top agents in Los Angeles' tough real estate market, who stop at nothing to close the deal on the second season of Million Dollar Listing. The six-episode, one-hour docuseries follows the lives of three of Los Angeles' hottest, young and aggressive real estate magnates in the making as they seek a fortune selling multimillion-dollar properties in the most exclusive neighborhoods - Hollywood, Malibu and Beverly Hills. The series follows some of the area's top agents - Josh Flagg, Madison Hildebrand and Chad Rogers - over the course of nine months as their paths cross and they compete and expose the intense work that it takes to move the hottest listings in the City of Angels.

The show is a bit rediculous and is definetely 'fabulous', but very motivating seeing this young guys hit it so hard and do well..

Work Hard, Play Hard Is Madison's sculpted bod his secret to selling houses? Watch his sexy workout and decide for yourself.
Kathi, maybe you should interview this guy when you are ready to buy. Then you can share his secrets. =) |

I still am very curious if any of the LA guys know these agents.

Just found this! LOL
Report: 'Million Dollar Listing's Josh Flagg arrested for stealing art
By Christopher Rocchio, 08/04/2008
Josh Flagg has reportedly been accused of pilfering the homes of his clients.
ADVERTISEMENT The Million Dollar Listing second-season realtor and estate broker was arrested for allegedly stealing expensive pieces of art that were part of the estates he was handling, TMZ.com reported Friday.
He was subsequently released on $100,000 bail, according to TMZ.com, which added Bravo had no comment.
A 2004 Beverly Hills High School graduate, Flagg began working in "high-end residential real estate immediately," according to his Bravo-supplied bio.
In addition, Flagg is also billed as being known for "pampering his clientele" by sending chauffeured cars to his clients' homes and sending them up in helicopters to view properties.
Million Dollar Listing's second season will premiere tomorrow night at 11PM ET/PT on Bravo before moving to its regular Tuesdays at 10PM ET/PT time slot beginning August 12. |

Kyle... You should move to SD, or I'll move to Scottsdale, and we could make one bad ass show! But way more Entourage like than those WeHo dudes and their show.
With motivation and the true 'go get em, I don't give a !!' attitude, one could eaisly go big in some parts of SoCal. I have never met these dudes, but I have Realtor buds whose listings range from 250k to 20M and they are pretty 'normal'.
I haven't seen the show yet, but these kids are probably hardcore scenesters, and have a $$$ market due to the WeHo/Industry scene. I lived on Fountain, a block south of Sunset, for a year. And honestly, that scene was just too much for me! I could have made a killing as an Agent, but Hollywood is just not for me!!
I've always thought they should have a mortgage show based out of Scottsdale, which other then the rediculous heat, is one of the best spots in the West.
You would be Ari for sure, I'll take the roll of Vince! |

I was watching the show all last weekend. These guys come from money (or at least one guy admitted he does) Not the guy with the Beatles haircut or the bi guy but the other one said something to that fact.
Anytime you can take "earning a living" out of the equation then the success is built upon competition. No different then playing any game, you just want to beat the other person. When you can leave high school or whatever & build your image up in the RE game as fast as these cats have with the clothes, crew & cars then this is just play time for these kids. But believe me I'm not hatin or anything because I love watching how they splurge! |

LOL you know there has to be a Turtle. I'm sure we have a few options for Drama.
It would be wrong of us not to reserve Lloyd for JPalmer. |

Best idea yet! When we getting the plane tickets? These guys are definetley scenesters to the max...not a bad gig if you can do both and have fun, I would do it. Heck I DO do it, just not quite as crazy as these dudes, more low key as i hate the "scenester types" here in the 'Dale'...it got me more motivated though, so watch out. LOL

I've come pretty close to convincing myself to move to Scottsdale in the past. It is fair to say a Production/Reality show contract and an open market I could jump into would be well enough to make the move lol.
And I hear yah dude, lately I've not had the intensity that these guys have, I NEED to turn it on!! |

One specific thing it did make me realise, is that while targeting the super jumbo financing market, I am going to start swinging by their open houses and/or calling the realtors directly to introduce myself. Start networking more. I already have a few multi million dollar deals in town, just out my normal day to day marketing, but my goal is to become the resident expert, so thats one thing I plan to do and I saw them doing that on the show. And I just hired a partner so I can leave the office more, so that will help.
On the Moving to Scottsdale thing, its a great place to live, and really really expanding. There are so many big developments going on its crazy. Lots of hot women everywhere..golf, pools, probably similiar to your area already. I have been here all my life so cant say if its better or worse.

Yah I love it. And its not too hard to live the Entourage life there at all. I've spent more than enough time there since I was 16 which is why I say if it weren't for the heat, I'd be there.
I miss the James Hotel.. has it gone to hell since turning to The Mandrian? |

No its cool, I stayed there about 4 weekends this summer, to relax (read: drink) and hit the pool all day. Its pretty busy still, and the Sky Bar is pretty good, it used to be like 80% hot women and 20% guys, problem is, word got out and now its been infiltrated by more ******s..still ok though, just very expensive drinks which, in recession type aint cool.
They just are finishing up a new W hotel, right next to all the clubs in old Town, which are being torn down and re doing the whole block, it should reinvigorate the scene.

Nice. That's what happens though, they end up getting washed out quickly. The W is sick and I'd only imagine that one being super sick. That's insane that the are rebuilding all those clubs. That block reminds me of Cancun at night.. I'll have to come check it out for sure!!

I saw a promo for that show the other day. Hard to believe that soon-to-be felon is 30 years old. He looks 14.
The show we watch is "Flipping Out". It features an OCD, neurotic, gay guy that flips million dollar houses. They surely play up some drama for the cameras but the show is prety good and he does some cool renovations. He buys $1MM houses and adds $550K in improvements. |

Yeah, I watch all those real estate related shows, that flippin out guy is a bit much however, damn!
As for the guy who asked about trigger leads? Dude, this is a thread abotu netowkring for multimillion dollar deals, not scrapping other peoples worthless refinance deals for junk leads on 100k manufactured homes, so no, we dont know where to buy trigger leads.

You said you always had referral biz? Stick to that, call past clients, realtors?..sorry to be rude, but most of us hate trigger leads and dont like when people ask about buying them, just telling you.

i love flippin out. one of the better shows on tv. i love how jeff talks about zoila his house keeper.
"i sent zoila to school so she could learn the language, and so i could better comminicate my needs to her. not so she could learn things like, her rights, and the law."
as always, i wish they would focus a little more on the actual business of things, and less on the people. |

Yeah its a bit gay at times...there was a freaking scene where one of the realtors was taking a shower and then then pan to him zipping his pants up, I freaked out...but other than that, cool show.

Yeah I dont care either, I pointed that out in the opening post about the show. All I meant is when they all the sudden cut to a shower scene with a guy and cut to his nipple I did jump for a sec out of shock they would show that...

I'm just fine in my skin and have no problem watching a show that is on a "gay channel". I live in SoCal and gay is way more common than in most of the country, I used to be freakishly uncomfortable as a teenager with that stuff, but was kind of forced to get over it when I moved to Hollywood. Now, I could care less either way, and I actually work with a couple Gay Realtors who are super cool, and are quality individuals.
But still, I too could do without the shower scenes and so on. Flipping out really doesn't have any Gay material in it though, so no big deal. |
