I finally read the 'benefit's' page, seems like I should probably step up for the tiny 10 bucks a month?
Do you guys actually talk on this other forum section?
I think the website creation may be useful to me and/or search optimization..
Someone fill an ol'timer in?

I may, at least to get the cool badge.
I had some broker tell me his website was getting lots of hits because of the BO Premium stuff..he was trying to give away leads or something, I cant remember.

I just signed up for it and the Round Table is definitely not the highlight of the membership. Very little activity on the message board.
I know NOTHING about website development, but I figured this would be a good way to get in there and figure it out. I am assuming most of the tools are geared to the interest of a mortgage professional, so I am going to give it a shot, use the tools they give you and figure out how to make the most of it..
I can think of an infinte number of things I have blown 10 bucks on. Even if it turns out to be a bust, I figure it is a cheap education in learning the numerous tools available to generate more business.
That and now I have a COOL badge !! |

| If you use the tools it is well worth the $10 a month, just think, you probably aren't going to Starbucks as they have closed the neighborhood one so what else you going to spend it on...gas? |

| Go for it. Great tools for a website. Couple hours to learn the tricks of the trade but you could have a website with a 100 pages of content in a week. |

I used to be a member. I cancelled after a few months as I discovered the forum action was really over here.
Mind you, membership does give access to some other worthwhile features.

| The biggest benefit thru the premium website tools is the leads that come in, leads I dont have to pay for as well. The cost per site to host is cheap, under $100 per year. One transaction pays for the sites for the next 10 years. |

| I was always picked last for the kickball team...I didn't have a date until my sister's prom date stood her up...I button my shirt all the way up and still live with my mother. $10 a month gives me the sense of belonging...$10 a month makes me appear more professional....$10 a month gives me B.O. |

There's many keywords that I rank on the first page of google. Many others have to pay thousands of dollars in Seo to get the same result.
I get on average about 50 calls/form leads a day. Some work out, some don't. Best part is these are leads I don't have to pay for.
Plus there's additional income from affiliate sales as well. If someone signs up for a free credit report, I get $8-$18 each. Last month I had 35 people sign up...all without doing a thing. |

I know what you mean, theres a good chunk of them that are no good (especially in this market), but i try to contact each one. Sometimes its not as bad as they think or they refer someone else they know.
Theres also alot of brokers calling thinking that im wholesale. Ive had full packages emailed and faxed to me. When I tell them im not a wholesale lender the get the dear-in-the-headlights type silence. |

Yes thats correct, I have each site up on its own unique ip adress, so all-in is about $100 for annual hosting for each. There are some hosting companies that you can have 100 or so sites on a shared IP as well.
If i had to do it all over again I would still have it on a seperate IP but use Wordpress as my main page. WP gets indexed pretty fast and the blog and ping function is priceless. |
