| I've read that there is no upfront mortgage insurance on condos for FHA loans, and that just the 1/2% a year needs to be paid. Is that correct? |

| no. and fha doesnt just do any condo out there. you have to check and make sure the complex is on the list. |

condo property type have the same insurance as SFR's, used to be different a few years ago. condos ethier need to be HUD approved or Spot approved.
