I have some friends close by but could not reach them for an update.
How are you holding up? Just watchin out for our BO friends.

Thanks for the concern.

Flooding is mainly along the Rio Bonito and Rio Ruidoso. 4 of the 5 available bridges to cross the rivers are washed out. Unless your friends are within 100 yards of the river, they should be safe. Those homes near the rivers and other low lying areas have ben evacutated and at this time I am unaware of any injuries or loss of life.

The west end of the horstrack at Ruidoso Downs has been washed away and the infield (where the Rio Ruidoso passes through) is completely flooded. On a positive note, being in the mountains we have a lot of high ground that is relatively unaffected.
