***SCAM WARNING***

There is a guy that goes by the name of "Brian Byler" who claims to be the Vice President of Allstate Private Equity and is approaching people seeking hard money on these and other forums.

"BRIAN BYLER" is a scam artist and IS NOT affiliated with Allstate what-so-ever.

As a matter of fact, Allstate is currently acquiring information and building a case against him.

In our case, "Brian Byler" had contacted us expressing interest in financing a hard money / private equity deal we are involved with. Upon issuing us a commitment and asking for a "$25,000 refundable commitment fee", we decided to contact the REAL Allstate Private Equity to check him out a bit first. We were then informed of the situation and put in contact with Allstate's legal team who is aggressively pursuing the matter.

In addition to the fraudulent bank accounts, domain name(s), and cell phones, this guy generally likes to only correspond via email using anonymous open proxy servers to try and conceal his exact location. Given my background in IT however, I was able to track him down after doing a bit of my own investigation into the matter (long story).

"Brian Byler's" REAL name is Donald S. Whitlock (aka Donald Whitlock; Don Whitlock) and based on the information I was able to obtain I have reasonable evidence to suggest that he is located in North Carolina (contact me for more specific details).

For additional information, you can contact me, but I also would recommend contacting the attorneys and investors at Allstate who are looking into the matter. You should be able to reach Kasey Mangen or Kendall Mills at (847)402-8799.
