| I was reading this earlier...kind of cool. I don't think we'll see the 11 eligible receiver, two quarterback offense in NFL anytime soon. |

| Yea, great idea, teach high school players absolutely nothing about the game of football. Maybe the coach should go run summer passing league somewhere and give his whistle to a real coach. I feel sorry for any of those kids if they play D1 ball. It’s hard enough to adjust to college ball out of high school, much less playing Disney land ball for 4 years. I would be pissed if my son was on that team |

I see your point, but also think that with an enrollment of 1k students, most D1 potential players would either transfer or move out of district and not play for a "small" school. Schools like that in OC, CA play 8v8 and some of those make D1, albeit rarely.
I'm just impressed that someone who is a public employer/educator to risk losing their job over thier innovative idea. Now that is some b@lls |

| Beau, schools with an enrollment of 1,000 don't play 8 man football in OC. They put a school for the handicapped in to increase enrollment to stay in division 1 like our HS did. How soon we forget... |
