Most of the clients I get are everyday people like you and me. Recently I did a rate/term refi for a member of the Tennessee Titans (not sure if I should mention the name). As you can imagine it was a pretty big house. I only made slightly over a point on the deal because it was a referral from his accountant and I was told from the start to keep it close to a point on the back. But with the big loan amount, 1 point was still great. Even bigger than the house was the player. I am not a little guy but I felt like a midget next to this guy.

Nothing in mortgages, but Cal Ripken was a regular of mine for almost 10yrs, Tony Saragusa(got to fly him and his mgr in the corporate plane as well!) and Hasim Rachman after he won the belt(had to pay cash for an Infiniti for his mom) are ones I can remember off the top of my head, but many more Baltimore sport celebs over the years...

Yep...didn't want to name names. I remember once when he came in before his Vette was ready and he didn't have a ride home. He bought a 454SS truck to get back home!

Briefly.... Michael Jackson (at least I got to see his credit, taxes, appraisal... but apparently many others did as well).... but for real.... Shaq was a client of mine when he still lived in Orlando.... Billy Ballew Racing as well (they own the Nascar truck team that Kyle Bush drives for)..... other than that - normal folks.... (many are legends in their own minds, but that's another topic)

Well, I was able to barely meet the entire '82 Brewers team back when I got rejected in a tryout. Was a very big deal that year. Paul Molitor, and I believe Larry Hisle, were extremely friendly.

Wish I could meet them this year. They are on fire!

I get athletes deals all the time, they are usually garbage. I would say the deals I get tend to not be famous in the public eye but famous in the business world, CEO's, those types..not so exciting for the TMZ types, but good contacts.

My buddy just did the loan for a very prominent Suns palyer though..

And I took an app from a Diamondbacks player ahwile back, he actually just came as a lead though one of my websites, I didnt think it was really him, but I called him and it was..

Back when I worked for Bally's, I signed up Latrell Sprewell and 2 cousins for memberships. He has a huge house in River Hills and is from Milwaukee.

Also signed up Eric Benet right before his first single broke. He was in the club when it came on the radio for the 1st time and he started singing along with it and other members (women) started going nuts. This was waaay pre- Halle Barry.

We helped a former teeny-bopper who is now a singer/actress refinance her condo in Los Angeles. It was not Lindsey Lohan.

Also helped the former bass player (or was it drummer) in the Rollins Band.

Lastly, when we had a processor, at her former job (chiropracter front desk) she helped several members of The Eagles.

I've also helped a few small-time baseball players who played in the majors for a few years each.

Biggest one was that singer/actress though, we never even spoke with her, her dad took care of everything.

Actually, a number of them. I used to deal with an accountant who handled celebrities. Although I never met any of them in person...it was all handled through their people.

I did a loan for a big-name Hollywood somebody.
This persons business manager/CPA also represents many Hollywood actors.
He recently had me price out a deal for a big Hollywood actor who made approximately 20Mil in 2007.
I should mention that this persons credit was in the mid 500s even though his dti was in the single digits.
Thats about as detailed as I can be here.

I ran 6 different clubs in WI about 10 yrs ago. When I ran the Downtown club, every time there was an event, WWF, concert, theater or other, starsor those that thought they were, thinking they were important, would come in wanting a 2-3 day pass. I'd tell them they had to sign a 2 yr contract that was good nationwide, 50% of them did. It was easy hitting your monthly #'s at the DT club!
The best tho was the $trippers & "entertainers" that would fly in to work a major gentleman's club and would come in for a weekend, want a 2 day pass, and I would work it out for free passes/drinks/pictures at the club for myself and sales staff. Worked everytime. Those days were fun.

A guy in my office did a HELOC for Ali Landry

I did a refinance for the head engineer for Shelby.

I have a signed copy of his book released last year.

You should see the pictures in the book. Everyone from Mario Andretti to Tony Stewart

My college buddy, and track teammate, is an NFL HOF'er. He was the NFL all-time leading receiver. Nicest guy you ever want to meet. Very modest, incredible all-around athlete, perfect credit.

I almost got fired for laughing when someone was processing a loan for a prominent public official that was busted in a hotel room. Strange, he was re-elected after, uhm, well after.

WOW- Elite Performers! There's a blast fromt he past! Yup, went to the Bahama's for the "President's trip" cruise, San Diego, where I met the only ugly chick from Baywatch (the short haired brunette who was a commander or something?) Scottsdale AZ where I met Sophia Vergara when they first signed her on as a spokeswoman (SMOKIN' HOT!), and I won a seperate trip to Cancun my area director threw for top salesman before I got promoted to Gen Sls Mngr. Buddy- one of the clubs I ran was just outside a major mall's parking lot, and we had a storefront in the mall that you would try to get people to stop in for a light workout & sign up. This was 10+ yrs ago before all the cell phone kiosk punks took over, but anyway....the mall location was referred to as "Hotel Bally" for the many conquests that had taken place there. Those definitely were "the Bally days!"..lol

I did a loan for a US Congressman, a California Supreme Court Judge, an award winning jockey that worked in So Cal, and I also worked on a loan for a major league baseball player that was buying 2 lots next to each other in Newport Crest and was going to do a multi-million dollar construction loan when all of a sudden his wife went out of control and stabbed him in the leg with her high heel shoe as they were coming home from a restaurant. That marriage ended, deal feel through. She's been in and out of rehab many times since.
