Producer has been in the business 30+ years - he is producing a play right now - you can check it out - Viagara Falls - very successful - he also has just finished a movie that will be opening I think year end - Boilermaker -
He has a script now by a noted award winning writer - he has a distributor already for it - who is putting up 60% of the funds - Mike only needs $1.5 million and we're good to go - they have already approved the director and he can get any actor he wants for the project and the distributor ok'd that as well - (very difficult to do and he did it) - the investor would get back his money first and get paid percentage in perpetuity - which means - he would receive money from domestic and foreign sales as well as cable sales and dvd sales for the life of the film...now that's a great investment opportunity for someone...
If you have an interested party let me know and I will then (if he is serious and he can write a check ) we'll talk..

I actually may be able to get an investor for this if its legit. I have an investor in Beverly Hills that has TV show and movie experience, however I dont know of his appetite or ability for this any longer, if you have a summary of the financing requested, send it to me and I will have it looked at.

this is the summary letter---i out it together-------------all i can say is the project is real----i can put your people on the phone with the producer and his people any time---let me know what you think you can do

Not sure what you are saying...
But, I cant go to a millionaire investor/ producer and pose an investment to him with a post off of website..? I need a more formal summary. If you cant have that put together and typed up in a business format for your client, then why would expect to get paid?
Nobody that doesnt already know your client and thats legit is getting on the phone with your client just based on a few sentences of info, you have to sell your project with a professional summary of some sort..I am no expert in movies, just trying to help if I can possibly bring in an interested party.
Not being a jerk, just trying to clarify...

| Usually if a broker is given a movie deal, it means all other sources have been exhausted. Movie deals are garbage 99% of the time. First question anyone is going to ask is does this guy have a distribution deal? If not, your wwasting your time. |

Yeah you do..I have been talking with him alot on his investment appettite for the future, TV Productions, and Feature Films are still of interest actually. So in essence Dave, you and I will be directly funding these!
