If you're like me and you make a living by getting deals done for your clients, then maybe you are feeling the effects of the current market. Lenders are not as flexible as before and the overall higher cost of living is making it ever more difficult for consumers to maintain decent credit scores. That's the ironic thing about credit - when you REALLY need it, it's nearly impossible to get for a lot of people.
Anyway, I recently signed up to be a dealer of a credit score improvement program (it's on a CD) that I can sell directly to my clients who I can't close - mostly due to credit score or issues on their report. I've found this to be a great way to supplement my income to the tune of $100-$150 extra per day. Every client who has purchased it from me LOVES it...and best of all, it seems to be working because after following up on a deal I was previously unable to close, things improved enough for me to get it done. That has happened several times since I started participating as a dealer.
Think about it: what are your options for monetizing deals that you can't close? I never referred my clients to "credit repair" companies - I don't trust them and a lot of them are scams. The other choice is to shelf the deal and move along, getting paid zero dollars for your time and effort. By offering your clients this product, you recoup some or all marketing costs and the time you spent working the deal. On top of that, 9 out of 10 times you will get a second chance to close the deal thanks to the effectiveness of the product!
