was about to close a commercial refi in omaha, nebraska last month--but borrower decided last minute to go with another lender even though he signed a broker fee agreement with me--ans I was able to originate an investor to close and brauight him all the way to the table-please recommend a good attorney for retreival of funds or to put judgement on property--thanks so much

daniel... so you say your deal never closed? there's nothing you can do.... unless you have some sort of 'services rendered' contract.... our (broker) fees are collected due to a closing that we arranged.... if the client went elsewhere.... chalk it up to bad experience....
if we all could get fees for loans we worked on, but didn't close - we'd all be alot better off..... |
