First let me preface this by saying my client on this is ME!

I live in PA. Looking to purchase a duplex in Maine. Can this qualify as a 2nd home/vacation home if I rent half and use half for myself, or is it stricly considered an investment property once I rent half?

Anyone know a good broker in Maine I could speak to?

Broker in Maine here, a duplex is fine for second home won't have any issues in underwriting. Feel free to contact me @ 207.878.1340 x 705.
