Have client who owns business in Lee county , Florida. Has tax number, can go full doc. He is Canadian citizen . Has credit score of 720 mid and US credit. Single family home=purchase. FTHB 10% down. Full doc. Can anybody help? Thanks.

Is he a permanent resident alien? Non-permanent resident alien? or foreign national? something else?

He is a nonresident premanent alien, iI believe. He doesn't know.

If he lives here and has enough tradelines this should be a slam dunk FHA deal. Just get a copy of his Visa and talk to your FHA lender of choice. Once they know what type of Visa he has then they can verify he can do it.

Suntrust entertains foreign nationals with an active visa. They can qualify for any non government loan. Bank United has something similar as well. Good luck and I'd love to hear how it goes!

There are a slew of Canadian Banks down here that can help him. Harris, RBC-Centura, TD and Scotia. RBC has branches all over Florida.
