I would like to check if there are funds/ PE groups who is lending money in India. We have a many projects that need funding and a couple of the projects are mentioned below:
1. Building a Steel Plant in India Loan Amount: $5.25 Mn Total Value of the Proj: $6.75Mn On this deal we can look at and Debt / Equity or a combination of both as I am an Investor in this project and a total of about $1.25 Mn will be the investment from our end and more money can be invested if it is essential to meet the funding guidelines. 2. IT Park in india Loan Amt: $12.5 Mn Value of Property: $50Mn Completion Value: $70Mn On this we are looking at only Debt. On both the deals I can send the detail financials if any institution is intrested in the projects. Sujay COO ESS Solutions LLC 718-701-2981. sujaykanth@essllc.com |

My best suggestions would be to contact Rana Kapoor, CEO of YES Bank in Mumbai, also K.R. Maheshwari at Indusind Bank also in Mubai. finally, may be worth running these deals by Dominic Price or Nilaya Agrawalla at JP Morgan Chase in Mumbai.
I'm always "curious" when deals that should be presented to "home" banks within the Country find their way wandering the globe looking for funding. |

| Dont you also OWN your own Mortgage company and OWN your own private Lending company so why are you shopping for a loan if you OWN a mortgage company and a private equity firm so you claim??? You also want a loan where you dont want to pay any up front fees. LOL....good luck finding that maybe you should turn to yourself for financing since its such a GREAT deal. |

| I am not shopping, NYC was not clear as to how the funding would work in case of International Loans, I was checking if there were people who knew the regulations. Also looking for options is not a bad thing at all, and as discussed over the con-call I am still waiting from NYC to set up a con-call from itz investors, as mentioned I am not averse against your fee but I need to ensure that my questions are answered. NOBODY would give you $25K w/o questions being answered. |

Correction I said I HAD a mortgage company of my own and never mentioned that I have a PE firm. Upfront fee w/o even talking to the investor and not sure how anyone would just give you/ NYC Underwriters money, as I said I dont mind mind your fees as long as my questions are answered, and as a brokerage firm that is your duty as well, you need to take things in a sportive manner and you mentioning about fees all the time on blog is more derogatory for your firm than mine. I am still keen to work with your group. |

Just like the ones that say "FULL PACKAGE, READY TO GO", they always leave out the reason the last lender said no instead of presenting the issue up front which means to me, they're trying to slide something thru...What's worse is when it's a surmountable issue the LO is just to afraid, or lacks the knowledge, to deal with... |

The field of "brokering" is pregnant with this sort of thing. Many years ago I was involved in a different type of brokerage business. I can't tell you how many times I would be contacted by people who "had control of several 747 aircraft" that needed to be unloaded ... and others will call with "buyers looking for 747s to start an airline". Of course most of these people were not real players ... just wannabe folks trying to chisel a payoff from a ghost of a deal. I learned a long time ago that most "brokers" are full of hot air.
My kind of broker is Nick Cage in LORD OF WAR ... now he can get-er-done!

FYI, the lending rates in India are around 13.25% to 14%, hence people look for FDI (Foreign Direct Investment), hence seek foreign funding. The best rates of intrest are offered in Japanese Yen borrowings but unfortunately I am not aware of any Japanese lenders at this point of time. |
