How many zeros are in jillion? If it is less than 50, call Kevin Brown! |

Did the thought ever cross your mind to tell the guy, "Hey thanks, but this isn't something that I know anything about. You'd be better served by someone else who knows that there aren't 'Direct Lenders' for goldming JV projects"?

Yeah, that is what I told the first 3 or 4 people that have came to me with mining deals like this over the past couple months...
Apparently, people somehow get the impression that I am a good financing source for mining operations. I am not sure why - I do not advertise.
Either way, seeing as I keep coming across these types of ventures and find it a slight bit intriguing, it can't hurt to give it a go. Gotta start somewhere though. I'm just throwing it out there...

haha... yea... sure... lehman's will do it..... that won't be a waste of time.....
gold mines are not going to happen in today's market.... take it from my experience with messing with a few of them.... pie in the sky..... smoke and mirrors for the most part..... (gold mines, sod farms, underwater casinos (seriously), etc.) |

| My hedge fund is maxed out at $159 million. Your client will need to get a stand alone second for $1 million. |

Gold mines are mostly privately funded by selling stock, or backing them into an alredy existing larger mining operation. I had a hand in starting Inspiration Mining and would be able to get your legitimate mining ventures funded, but I wouldn't do it as anything other than the lead broker. In other words, you could give them my name and phone number, but I wouldn't work through you. A referral fee is all I'd pay.

| What Dave said is correct, you really won't find funding unless you stumble across an loony investor willing to take the risk. I don't care what any hedge fund etc says, as my partner in another firm is acquiring producing gold mines and liquidating his own assets and other investments he had. All are producing, and he has 25 years worth of contacts on Wall Street and other investment sources, yeh you find some say we're interested, and never budge nor can show proof of dealings in mines they've done. |

Funny, I have the exact same deal here in my hot little hands right now. It would appear Mr. Lion Canyon is whoring this deal out all over the place.
Good luck! |

Why would you have wasted the money on the fax?
Gold mines don't get mortgages. It simply does not work that way. I don't want to waste my breath trying to teach people something when it is falling on deaf ears, so just take my word for it. Gold mines don't come in "Loan packages". They are packaged for either private placement or public trade, you don't get a mortgage on a gold mine.

| The borrower just called me also. Seems that the gold mine is dry but he would like 160MM anyway so he can build a water park on the property. |
