Hello Everyone,

I am a hard money / private equity broker in Arizona, new to Broker Outpost, and if I am honest, still somewhat new to commercial finance.

I just wanted to get everyone's opinions as to who they think is the best, most honest and reliable source for larger commercial deals.

I know that is a pretty broad question because each lender, hedge fund, etc., has their own unique lending profile - I would just like to know if there are any specific lenders that stand out for their honestly, reliability, ability to close loans quickly, competitive financing terms, and not just run away with the borrower's commitment fee like many of the horror stories I seem to read about.

I don't seem to have any problems attracting a fairly wide range of borrowers that are seeking financing for everything from fuel depots in Nicaragua, to beach front condotels in Belize, to large master-planned communities, commercial developments, and mining operations in the U.S. - My problem is usually finding a reliable source to fund these types of deals (especially the international ones).

I would like to ideally build a relationship with one or two stable and reliable financing sources for both U.S. and International deals that I come across.

Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You will not make it in the business with just one or two stable financing sources. You have to have multiple relationships with different funding sources private, banking, commercial, institutional. If you get all types of requests you will need to learn what different lending sources prefer. This will take more than just google. This takes time. If you are open to working with a broker who has been in the commercial side since 1998 you can give us a call.
