As we all know, Indymac closed down wholesale & retail. Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand, Indymac now wants 1% of the loan amount up front in cashier's check just to close existing locked loans!
For those on wholesale side - we can flip to other banks. But imagine all the purchase clients that went to Indymac Retail for their loans. Holy crap are they screwed! If they're in contract already, now they gotta front additional 1% jut to draw docs in cashier's check. If they're just starting, now they gotta start all over.
Any way we can pick up these Retail indymac fallouts for purchase loans? That is .. short of waiting outside their retail locations? |

I spoke to an Indy REO agent. (must have indy approval prior to submitting offer!!!!) He said that everything on their retail end has transferred over to Prospect Mortgage. And also that now would be a great time to invest in some indymac stock!!! |
