The "outrageous fortune" for the many anonymous posters on the outpostian only serves to make me like the accused BETTER. I just wanted to let you know, especially Steve and Steve, that when and if I ever have a problem with you justifying that level of accusation, you can be sure I will boldly and proudly confront you without anonymity.
Even then, I'm much more likely to approach you personally, OUTSIDE of a public forum where my words have potentially damaging effects on your livelihoods. If you were ******s about it, then and only then would I post derogatory information on a public forum. Even then, it would certainly include my name and information. There's a reason people have a right to confront their accusers. If it didn't exist, anyone could say anything about anyone without consequence, fear of reproach, or potential for contrary points of view to be honestly debated.

It's hilarious to see how many of the more vitriolic responses are hiding behind the "anonymous" tag.
I haven't been on the outpost long enough to have such strong opinions, but if I did, and as a rule, I would not call someone's participation into question anonymously.
Anonymous rants have not credibility. As I read them, I just assume that several of them are from the same person and are likely simply the several "enemies" that exist for these folks.
I'm not taking any sides, just saying that what the kids on the playground used to say: "if you're going to talk smack about me, at least have the minerals to do it to my face."
I hope when and if people have a problem with me A) they don't mind saying so and b) I get to know who they are so I could first attempt a rational discourse on the topic before resigning myself to "putting up" with anonymous naysayers.
This is petty and Juvenile. And strongly held beliefs without sober and logical EVIDENCE will be largely discounted as rantings of the disgruntled.
Like my mama always said, if you got a problem, Grow Up, Man Up, post up, or Shut Up.
