I'm having trouble finding a home for this loan. The homeowner purchased this house for $350,000 in 1997. House in FREE & CLEAR at the moment. The only problem is, there is tax lien for $175,000 that he has been fighting in the courts (have all the documents) suing everyone from the county to the mortgage company for some discrepancies on his real estate taxes. Every thing has been finalized and now he has to pay the amount.
Our In-House underwriter does not want to approve this (as FHA) because she is using the tax liens as negative mortgage history (Makes no sense to me because the guy is FREE & CLEAR).
I need a lender who can give this borrower a decent rate and close it quick. We are even willing to go stated and not deal with so much paper work since we have a fully executed 4506. It can be Conventional or FHA.
NY SFR - Primary 355,000 Loan Amount 680 FICO Self-Employed 50 LTV 36/39 DTI DU/DO Approved/Eligible (FHA) Fully Executed 4506T
P.S. House is titled to his Corp which he own 100% (Have all documents) and is willing to change it over to his name.
