If you can tell me who is paying you a point on 5.375, for 6/26 rates, on a 15/fixed, I'll give you $1,000 if it checks out. The company offering that would be losing money against the actual bond price.
Hell, PFG, who leads all wholesale lenders, is par at 5.625 for 6/26.
So what gives? |

my best is this guy thinks he's getting a <.987> when its actually a cost. even so. Im not buying it. I would like to know the lender.

thanks guys not me my client sent in all the stips then drops this line of crap on me. that another broker offered him. talk about pissed. i searched everywhere the best i got was 5.5%@ .491 . I thought he was full of crap so i brought it to the post to confirm i was right thanks folks. his logic is if the broker is getting one on the back at this rate i should be able to do better...not sure where i went wrong on this one  |
