Hello
I have a question that I hope one of you can answer. As a loan officer if I were to go to a homeowner and ask if I can place my mortgage sign next to there realtors sign .... is this ok ? Also I would tell the homeowner that on that sign I will offer a free 2yr home warrenty to the potential buyer/borrower. Does this violate any RESPA rules ? .. as I am not compansating the realor,or the seller. he buyer/borrower would receive a benifit.

The sign is definitely OK...although the realtor may object
I don't know about the home warranty...but if you deceide to do the home warranty...I would create one of those little plastic cyclinders and connect it to the sign with the warranty in it. I would put about 50 copies in there so everyone can take one
I actually have a better strategy for you though, you can go on my site at www.condobanking.com and read The Mortgage Manifesto...it's completely free and located on the right hand side of the screen......it's packed with a variety of marketing techniques you can use
Best of Luck Craig |
