| I have been a member of this site for a long time and have seen it go through many states, but the current state is one of the worst I have seen as far as those that do not follow forum guidelines. I suggest that you appoint moderators for the forums. Things have been getting out-of-hand more and more, unlike what it used to be. My only hypothesis is that the lack of visible administrative members is allowing this type of activity to flourish. |

| There are moderators Mike, make sure to click the red face on the posts which violate the rules and someone will take care of it. |

I agree. While I've only been here a little over a year, I've seen a drastic increase in ATTITUDE.
It is not uncommon for a new member to ask either a dumb question or a vague one and they get hit with every ***, **** or ***** word in the book.
I don't get all the anger??? |

Darin,
Thank you for your response. I have done that a few times in the past, but nothing happened. I do it in the future, starting a post from "mrs jtobysmith". This poster does nothing but degrade the quality of the board. I hate to be a whistle-blower/complainer, but things are getting entirely out of hand lately.
Mike

I appologize as I was unclear in my first post. I think that more moderators are needed so that an active presence can be made. I understand the measures such as the "smiley" are made available to us, but I view those as passive measures. I feel that active measures, such as more moderators (perhaps members of the forum) would serve the purpose better.

| I think the tobysmith user was banned already. This site has always had a passive moderation. I know IB is looking into possible moderators who already have an active positive participation in the forum. |

That is exactly what I think would be helpful. Thank you for the feedback.

I agree, if I was a new member and read some of the threads, I would sure hesitate to ask a question and God forbid you spell something wrong. |

I agree wholeheartedly. Every forum I've ever been a part of has an active moderator presence. Perhaps a few volunteer moderators, I've seen other boards that grant moderator status to long-time members who are respected by the community at large as well as trusted by the administrators. Something to mull over... |

| A visible moderator presence would be a welcomed change. |

i saw 1 thread moved from the LO training to the announcements....not sure why the other one wasn't moved.
the main forum has spam topics as well..
I think the Mod should change the 'Lender Review' forum to
Lead Reviews & Freebies
This way ppl can post their favorite lead provider w/out posting it on the main forum or in the LO training section
It seems that everyone is using the main forum for lender reviews
just my 5cents.
IN the future you will only be allowed 2 cents. |
