I know its been a topic several times, but in searching I havent found any recent threads that recommend lenders in my area. Are there any lenders still doing 203k's?
I need lenders that do Alabama.
Thanks! |

Yeah I have been looking for one for up in WA myself and they are few and far between. 203K lenders speak up. |

| I can help you get 203k loans closed, we still offer the program. Also, you will be paid on the HUD like a normal loan. If interested, call me at 570-647-7422 or email me at aloscig@hcimortgage.com. |

You also lend in Alabama...but you only want to approve brokers with 5 years FHA approval. We have been approved 2 years...apparently 2 years isnt long enough for us to know what we are doing |

| The fees associated such as re-inspections, etc are part of the $35,000 in the streamlines, too. |

There are warehouse line restrictions on 203k's- probably bigger haircuts- which makes them unattractive to lenders.
Try Freedom Mortgage as a wholesale source. |

| 203K's have helped me grow in this foreclosure market (central fl), however, my company no longer offers them. It is one of the best loan programs of its kind, especially the streamline. However, one can see the risk in giving a homeowner a 97% LTV rehab loan, in this market. Awesome loan for the right use. |
