Delmer, we call that a REVERSE MORTGAGE over here. The reverse mortgage is not right for everyone but I do think if you have a senior borrower you should at least provide them this option. There is no income, credit score, asset or employment requirements. And best of all they may be able to retire that mortgage payment for LIFE.

Why would anyone want to give a senior a secure future with a reverse mortgage when they can sell them SISA at 8.5% and make a ton of YSP to boot.
Layne, does Wachovia offer reverse mortgages?
