Here lately, I am noticing that when I try to tkae a loan app, the borrowers are lying to me. Mostly about value, but also- oh-heavens no, no lates in the past year...- and so what do you think mortgage lates are?
Is anyone else encountering the lying on a larger scale?
I am at the point to where, uless i get the comp checks back from my appraiser, i won't even pull credit... |

In regards to value... What you perceive to be a lie about value is actually the borrower having no clue as to what their home is actually worth. It isn't a lie, they just don't know any better. That is why we have appraisals. |
