My brother is looking at Amerisave as a potential employer. Does anyone have any recent experiences or information on Amerisave? I see a lot of past posts on them but nothing recent. Anything I can pass along.

Visit "The Mortgage Professor" www.mtgprofessor.com . He appears to be endorsing them.

Of all the folks claiming to be their "REP" posting on the OP,
Kyle D. Zotter, far and away has done the best job of responding to
questions, so if your brother wants to explore thier opportunity
more, Kyle would be the best one I know of, for him to call.

I have been on the job now for about 2-3 weeks. I started out @ Wells Fargo which was ok, then I moved to Countrywide b/c I was tired of my best friend beating me on rates/cost and stealing my deals. So far it is everything they have promised plus some. All of the negative post I have read are either from people that just aren't cut out for the mtg industry or don't ever try it. I am doing the exact same thing Countrywide had me doing except now I by my own leads vs. Countrywide spoon feeding me leads. I like it better mainly because I work the same but will make about twice as much. Countrywide paid me a lousy salary and very very little per loan which came out to around 10-20% of revenue or even less in some cases. The opportunity is unbelievable and on top of that they just rolled out insurance services so technically you could be a licensed insurance agent while originating loans. I like it alot so far. However I can definitely see how it would not be for everybody. Call or email me if you have additional questions and I would be more than happy to answer them for you.

Bump...Had my first loan closing this week which only took 7 days and it was one of the easiest loans I have ever closed. I did nothing but collect docs and send an email. Easy as that for all of the doubters out there. I am only 4 weeks on the job and should make more this next month than I have ever made in my mortgage career in a given month. Call me and I will prove it to you. Extremely happy so far...
